I emailed the guy about this because the picture doesn't show the retaining bolt installed still. Now as far as I know and have read is that once the bolt is taken out, the tensioner is worthless. Also I was uneasy about how far the piston has been pushed out already. I emailed the seller and he trying to tell me it's still good. That it can be pushed back in. I sent him the link to Courtesy's webpage even that states how it can't be removed until after install and did my best to explain.

Here is his first response:

"go to this link or go to [ www.twinturbo.net ] then go to the "tech" option on left side as i am showing above, then go down till you see timming belt replacement, click then go down to #28 and read.
thanks "

I go to where he tells me and #28 is removing the worn out one. Has nothing to do with a new one. So I tell him this and he comes back with this:

"check the technical forum, this was discussed earlier today. it does not have to be replaced unless it is bad. it is a good time to do it though. it is like a shock it has gas presure inside , does not lock out , would it be unreasonable to say that a dealership will likely tell you that it is bad if it expands out. that is how they make money!
thanks cyrus "

This deal sounds bad to me. I would use caution if your looking at this ad.

Again I'm basing this off of what I've read, dealt with (I have my old one at home and it doesn't push back in) and from what Courtesy's website even says. If I'm wrong let me know so that I know in the future myself.
